Twinkling above you is the first star of the night, Venus, the evening star.
Venus shines so brightly that it is the first star to appear in the sky after the Sun sets, and the last to disappear before the Sun rises. And due to its bright shining appearance in the sky, this planet was named by the Romans after their goddess of love and beauty.
