After living on conservation land at Dunmoochin in Melbourne, I fell in love with the natural environment and discovered the beautiful abundance of small flowers found on the dry hills at Dunmoochin. My pendant depicts native plant species found on land where I was living at the time. The flax lily (Dianella) and kangaroo grass
This piece is made by using a specialised and difficult process of fusing precious metals together, in order to create a beautiful and uniquely decorated surface
It is a double sided bead style pendant, which is hollow with the chain running through the inside of the pendant, giving the illusion the the pendant floats in front of the chain
