WITH OUR RESIDENT FULL TIME MASTER JEWELLER AND GOLDSMITH JEANETTE DYKE
LEARN HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN JEWELLERY IN HER PROFESSIONALLY EQUIPED AND STUNNING STUDIO

The Class:
The Wax Carving and Casting Workshop is a 2 half day jewellery making course, where each student will make 1 wax ring and finish that ring in sterling silver
Suitable for complete beginners, you do not need to have any previous jewellery making experience
• Learn how to carve and shape in wax in order to create your own ring design
• Learn how to transform your wax ring onto a silver ring - your wax ring will be cast by a commercial caster between week 1 and week 2. I take your wax rings to the casters in time for the second class.
Friendly relaxed class, ideal for complete beginners with no experience necessary
• My aim is to provide you with the skills and techniques you need to continue to develop your practice. Upon completion, students will have the knowledge to continue to create in wax on their own at home, as a hobby with minimal equipment or in a professional jewellery studio with an aim of making to sell
This skill can also be used to make earrings, necklaces and bangles
